Humantay Lagoon Ecological Tour

Humantay Lagoon Ecological Tour is designed with a focus on activities with sustainability, preservation, appreciation and awareness towards the environment. Our Official Tourist Guides are properly trained so that you can enjoy this natural wonder. Our tour starts as follows

The day of the tour, we will pick you up from your hotels at the agreed time one day before, between 4:00 a.m. at 4:30 a.m. , to board our mini bus and get to the town of Mollepata, where we will have breakfast after boarding our mini bus to Challacancha enjoying during the tour of all the majestic Humantay and Vilcabamba mountains range and continue the route to Soraypampa 2900 m.a.s.l. , where we will have a short break, to continue our journey to the starting point of the Soraypampa walking, at this point we start our walk with impressive views of the Humantay Lagoon located at 4200 meters above sea level and with amazing viewpoints appreciating all the beauty of the landscape.

From Soraypampa to Laguna Humantay are 7 km, which can be done between 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours of walking approximately. We can appreciate the snowy Humantay at 4200 meters above sea level and the imposing Nevado de Salkantay, then we will return to our camp for lunch and free time to take pictures and finally we will be returning from Soraypampa to the city of Cusco, we are  arriving at 6: 30 p.m. approximately.
